WASHINGTON D.C.---Katherine Janney; the 35-year-old Harvard-
Educated former attorney, and two-term Congresswoman form Portland, Oregon; has
just been elected as the 53rd President of the United States of America.
Katherine Alexandra Janney was born on June 6, 2024, in
Manchester, New Hampshire. She is the youngest daughter of recently retired
Republican Senator Alexander Janney of New Hampshire. Katherine was raised,
with her two sisters; Carolyn and Maryline, in Eugene, Oregon; from the age of
eight onward, following their mother’s divorce from the Senator; which
effectively torpedoed his presumptive bid for the Presidency in the election of
2034.
After graduating with a BAs in Political Science form Lewis
and Clark University in nearby Portland in 2074, Janney went on to Harvard Law
School, graduating summa cum latte with a Masters Degree in Constitutional law
four years later.
She began work as an associate attorney at the Boston-based
law firm of Janney, Kirks and Krueloe; of which her older sister Carolyn was
the founding named partner. While working at the firm’s home office in Boston,
Katherine nevertheless continued with her studies; earning a PhD in
Geopolitical Sociology at the age of just 28.
Never married, Janney nonetheless supports a teenage child
of her own; or so to speak---Her 15-year-old niece, Julia Gate-Allen; the only
child of Katherine’s oldest sister, Maryline.
Almost immediately upon receiving her doctorate; Katherine
left Boston for Portland, Oregon, where she took the position of senior
associate at the Portland headquarters of the law firm’s new west-coast branch.
A talented orator and commanding public speaker, and a
relentless and tactful litigator; Janney remained reportedly undefeated in
court room trials for the full duration of her final year at the firm; as she
prepared her ultimately successful Congressional bid in 2055-56.
She quickly acquired several very influential contacts; not
least among which were Senate Majority Leader Josieph Kickland of Illinois;
reportedly her lifelong mentor; and her Congressional Chief of Staff and chief
political strategist, her old friend Kenneth Welsh; a former Cabinet Secretary
of State and Defense and member of the House of Representatives from
Massachusetts; with a laudable service record, both in and outside of the
military, having achieved the rank of General in the Marine Corps; widely
honored and respected in an outside of Washington as a sharp and brilliant
political mind.
Now, four years later; at the age of just 35 years old;
Katherine Janney, Harvard-educated sociologist and litigator; has been voted in
as the nation’s next President, by perhaps one of the widest margins in
Presidential history. The American public have chosen by an almost overwhelming
majority, as their new Commander-in-Chief, the youngest President in the
nation’s history, and the first Bachelorette; that is, unmarried woman, ever to
hold the government’s highest office.

UW SCIENCE PROFESSOR TO FILL CABINET SEAT
UW-Madison Environmental Science Professor “Tapped” to Fill
New Cabinet Position
WASHINGTON D.C. - White House Press Secretary Gina Everett
announced last night that Doctor Jeremy Brooks, Professor of Climate Science at
the University of Wisconsin- Madison, has accepted the President Katherine
Janney’s nomination to fill the position on the Cabinet left open by the
President’s recent creation, last weekend, of the Cabinet-level Department of
the Environment, Ecology, and the Sciences.
Jeremy Franklin Brooks is forty years old, and received his
PhD in Environmental Education and Scientific Literature from the University of
Minnesota- Twin Cities in 2053. He has worked for the past four years as Head
Professor of Oceanic and Atmospheric Climate Sciences at the Gaylord Nelson
State Center for Environmental Sciences Research at the University of Wisconsin
at Madison. Six weeks ago, he accepted a temporary position from the President
as her Science Liaison and Special Advisor.
Everett also confirmed speculations that Jeremy Brooks’
older sister, Alexia Brooks, also works in the Janney West Wing, serving as the
White House Director of Foreign Policy Communications, as Alexia was standing
beside Everett in the Press Briefing Room Saturday night. Though, with his new
posting, Brooks will have nearly unfettered, around-the-clock access to the
President herself; it is as yet unclear, from the Press Secretary’s statements,
regarding as to what extent Jeremy Brooks will be working with his sister in
the coming months.

FIRST BACHELORETTE POTUS NOW OFF THE MARKET
ARLINGTON, VIRGINIA-- It is set to be a D.C. wedding the
likes of which seldom seen this side of the beltway and Dupont Circus.
White House Communications Director Kristin Ludlowe called a
press conference yesterday to announce that President Katherine Janney has
become engaged to be married, to her Science Liaison, Ecology Secretary, and
recently appointed White House Chief of Staff; Doctor Jeremy Brooks.
President Janney hired Brooks, then a forty-year-old
Environmental Sciences Professor at the University of Wisconsin at Madison; as
personal science Liaison to the Office of the President last February. Two
months later, the White House issued an Executive Order, effectively creating a
new Cabinet bureaucracy; the Department of the Environment, Ecology, and the
Sciences; and Janney nominated Doctor Brooks to fill the Secretary position.
Doctor Brooks was seriously injured in the May Day hurricane
in Chicago, while performing a guest lectureship at Northwestern University in
the suburb of Evanston, and was treated aboard Air Force One after being
rescued by the President and her Staff on their May Day tour of nearby
Milwaukee. The erstwhile Professor managed, however, to repay the favor-debt,
by reportedly saving the President’s life on two separate occasions; during a
volcanic eruption in Mexico City, and in a tropical cyclone in New Orleans,
Louisiana.
After Brooks orchestrated the White House’s celebrations of
the President’s birthday in early June of last year; what followed could only
be described as a whirlwind romance, as tumultuous as the weather.
Reunited after the evacuation of Washington in
mid-September, the new couple toured the world aboard Air Force One throughout
the autumn, fall, and into the winter of the past year; from Janney’s home of
Portland, Oregon, to a New Years’ celebration in Sydney, Australia; and from a
tour of San Francisco, to a Christmas holiday spent in Rome, Italy.
Returning to the White House, Janney and Brooks, with the
President’s eighteen-year-old daughter Julia, seemed the embodiment of a
Presidential family.
Brooks was later promoted, following the death of Chief
Political Advisor Kenneth Welsh in May, to the position of White House Chief of
Staff. After the death of the President’s father, former Conservative
Republican Senator Alexander Janney of New Hampshire; Doctor Brooks helped
Janney, working closely with the young Commander in Chief. Together, they
arranged and organized what was to be the single largest gathering of world
leaders in contemporary recorded history. The over two-hundred- and-fifty Heads
of State which met early this month in upstate New York, under the leadership
of the young President of the United States, ratified and signed the New Albany
Accords, a charter for a new unified system of global government.
According to sources close to the White House; after her
July Fourth ratification of the drafting, Professor Brooks routinely took the
President out for Dinner at various DC restaurants.
